Oxford University Medical School
Accelerated Medical Course for Science Graduates
Welcome to the web site for Oxford's graduate-entry medical course. At present, entry to the course is restricted to honours graduates in applied and experimental sciences (acceptable degrees are listed). Information available at this site:
For prospective students:
- New web site: The web site for the graduate-entry course has been transferred to a new site, at http://www.medsci.ox.ac.uk/study/medicine/accelerated. Please use the new site as your reference for this course.
- Entrance test: We mentioned last year that the use of the UKCAT for the four-year course was under review. It is quite likely that we will use a different entrance test for the 2013 entry. Details are available on the new web site.
- Colleges: The list of colleges offering places on this course.
- Contacts: Any questions you might have about the application procedure, after you have checked the details on the new web site, should be addressed in the first instance to: Undergraduate Admissions Office, University Offices, Wellington Square, Oxford OX1 2JD (telephone 01865 270542 (Ms Marion Edney); or e-mail). There are also some other contacts you might find useful.
For current students:
- WebLearn: The University's new web site for teaching resources. All teaching materials will eventually migrate to this site. Graduate-entry materials are accessible only to people with WebLearn accounts, so if you don't yet have a WebLearn account, you should ask for one from the Medical School.
